One week into the academic year and I'm touring classrooms to get a feel for what's happening.

I like to keep things simple. Less is more.

I aim to ask students simple questions like...

What are you working on?
What do you think about that?
Why do you think that?
How do you know this?
Can you tell me more?

At the end of the day as they go to the school vans I ask them more simple questions?

How was your day?
What was the highlight?
Why was that a highlight?

I get some great responses from seemingly simple questions.
